Collaborative Orange (nonet)

by Larry Chamberlin   Aug 28, 2012

< { [ ( | ) ] } >
For me, an orange is a shared fruit:
break the peel, lifting off the rind;
pull a slice, hand it to her
taking one for myself
each bite juicy sweet
until we reach
the navel
which I
eat.

    Now Larry, You are a genius....:)
    How did you think of this idea, I mean...an orange? Seriously...

    Okay, so I love the poem, I think the whole thing is just pure greatness, and I like Nonet's...The form name just sounds so gentle and beautiful...

    and then I read this and I am like, In the shortness of a nonet, nine lines, you told a story, gave it a great title, added metaphors and it flowed perfectly...

    So how did you do it? Give me your secrets...
    WOW
