So today is the day
The day to say goodbye and walk away
To close the door and never look back
Too scared of waking up and falling flat
I'll miss theses places

But that's what summer's about
Waking up and knowing september's around
Knowing people at your school will let you down
Comparing your summer friendships to those you have to see everyday at 8 a.m
Crying on the footsteps thinking about it all in the rain
But after awhile it goes away
The pain is still around every day
But when I look at the moon
I know that I'll see them soon.
