Chivalry - a dirge

by Larry Chamberlin   Sep 1, 2012

The iron of a man's character
is fired by his convictions
kneaded on the anvil of adversity
then tempered in his blood.

When a man dies, speak of his agony:
the fabric of obstacles is the tapestry
on which his deeds are woven
and crowned by his achievements.
