Strolling on a September afternoon

by Ole Carsten   Sep 2, 2012

Weather is nice autumn begins
First weekend in September
Hard to see directly
leaves are changing

Why do you love me?
What did I do well to you?
I have stroll thinking
Like walking a pilgrim route

You have my heart
You are my protector
I adored your appearance
Right from the start

I am walking in a rhythm
My feet's takes me to the meadow
Walking around a fairground
Children are smiling innocent

You smile is in my mind
The feeling of longing
The wind is touching my lips
Like a sweet kiss from you

Because of you
Our love is my sanctuary
Your are goddess in my kingdom
I am walking on the autumn day.

This is excellent. Though leafs should probably be leaves. The voice is sweet in this, it adds a dimension to this piece that I often see poets forget about. The word choice was amazing and it had a wonderful hint of helpful power to it, if that makes sense. The love is defiantly apparent and oozes from every line.

    All in all, great job
