Just for now

by Invisible man   Sep 2, 2012

As much as we wish,
as much as we hope,
dead is dead,
and the gone are gone.

Blonde hair,
blue eyes,
perfect smile,
blessed soul.

No longer blessed,
no longer smiling,
with closed eyes,
and dull hair.

As much as death is shared,
I wish it were tied,
tied to each other,
for I am only walking dead.

You were the blood in my veins,
you were the reason my heart worked,
now you rest forever,
and therefore I shall now rest with you.

My love forever,
My life just for now.

I thought this sounded like an epitaph for someone who meant a great deal to you?

    Very sad...filled with emotion...enjoyed it.
