This is one of those poems that I can relate in a way, except that I feel no love. That should be sad for me. Though, it's funny how I don't feel anything.

Nonetheless, I could still feel the feeling of your words. There are different parts that surprised me.. rather, that were creative. For instance, the part about x,y,z.. how things must end. Also the part about "you were the sun in my sky" I know that forgotten feeling.. Hope your grandpa realizes how much you love him. And hope, you don't lose that feeling of love for him. 5/5

I find it unbearably sad when people treat others with disrespect by belittling them, and double so between family members.

I like the power behind your words and your complete assurance that even though you are treated like this by your grandpa, you won't stoop to his level. That you won't allow him to succeed in belittling you or your spirit, by showing him that you still care for him no matter his feelings towards you. It takes a strong person to do this and very few are able.

However, in saying that, this poem also sounds as though its a goodbye..? Like perhaps you can't be around your grandpa anymore perhaps by your own choice or his, I don't know. Or perhaps he is dying (well, obviously), and you feel as though you are running out of time to reconcile? I don't know.

A really fantastic write, and one of my (new-found) favourite forms/style!
