Comments : Wandering Thoughts

Though you claim that those thoughts are randomized, I like the creativity in your imagery so much. I have only one note that minimizing the count of your words would have made it more powerful, but still, I was enchanted to read it, when such lengths pull me away... this is very well written. Loved it, Xanthe :)

Random thoughts ... Aren't they the best? I think so

Seems to me that this is the story of how you started writing... And this person was the one that helped you. Also it is sad, how you feel that the relationship between this someone is falling apart at times. And the whole time, the story was narrated, I could picture a bed and the candle light. The question at the beginning says whether to leave it unlit bit seems to be that for a moment it was lit just to reminisce. When it was over, the light was turned off and to sleep... And dream of that dream where you and this person were travelers.

I like the random thoughts, they set a image and a story. Sad at times... Specially the part about this person and you falling soon too. Hope that doesn't happen.

    I second what Everlasting said
"Random thoughts ... Aren't they the best?"
cause this piece is really one of the best it is open for many thoughts to be fit in with the overall idea u give to readers like me tho u mean only one thing, one person there
I think I know what u talking about here ( but I could be wrong )

anyway this is really good poem
    and u aren't falling, u will see =)

Aww why did this have to end?! I was so consumed in reading this poem. Although it is quite sad, it's very beautiful also. I love the imagery you've used here, it really makes this piece come to life.

If I wasn't taught of clemency dwelling
within baby's breath, I would never have
noticed poetry trapped in your eyes last
    February. I remember forgetting the
memories at the foot of my bed and
only finding them when I no longer
    needed them.

I love this stanza, because it sets the tone for the rest of the poem. The last two lines really stuck with me in this stanza. Many times I too have forgotten memories only to find them coming back to me when I didn't need them, in such a haunting manor... Good stuff, I really enjoyed this poem, keep it up!!
