High School (Collab)

by Thomas & One Man Clan   Sep 4, 2012

A life of shattered dreams
You're in a mess and you're stressing
But fear stops you from confessing
While your left here guessing
When well they stop with the pressing
Today, another punch and a lesson

In keeping you hushed
No need for anybody to know
Why your face is puffed

And it hurts when it's being
Done All day
Now, you contemplate walking
In the hallway
Such drama, is real when it isn't
In role play

And now you believe that
Your imperfections
Maybe the cause of
Such interjections.

None of it is true
they're just acting on hormones
clinging to acne-creme
text messages and cellphones

Don't be afraid of jocks
carrying little peckers
They don't have the braincells
to even play checkers

All they have is now
their past is their lifesaver
All so they don't cut their own throat
using a straight razor

Just give it time
and storm into university
cause in there there is no such thing
as a human curiosity
