Between Mind And Soul

by You Can Speak But I Can Rhyme   Sep 5, 2012

Put me to sleep, with your love induced in me;
I'll stand by your side, if you need someone badly;
You are the only purpose, I solely live my only life;
I'd swim in the deepest of oceans, from the sky I'd gladly dive...

My dreams, please make this all my reality;
Be gone oh nightmares! You cannot drive me crazy;
My love rises for the trust she puts in me;
I shall rise one day for her, for I love her dearly...

A slumber of pain, in my unending suffering;
where whispers of words unheard, loss of hearing;
Fear arises as she had started refusing to trust;
my hope shatters, heart begins to turn into dust...

Tears roll out before I'm even awake;
dreaming to be by her side, she thought it was all fake;
No more whispers of words, she just turns and walks away;
Fading as I am forgotten, more with each and every passing day...

The empty glass in one hand, in the other a bottle of rum;
At the table a 9mm pistol, to play if arises the boredom;
A knife sharpened to the edge, ready to malign;
A lighter to light the light, a support for the gasoline...

Now all I see is your picture
Lets see what happens now...
