Death And Desire

by You Can Speak But I Can Rhyme   Sep 5, 2012

Do you think you can help me?
From these barbs and pikes?
Will you be able to save me?
Even if I wish to die?

I will not yell for help;
Even when hurt or agonized;
No one will hear my yell;
Though in agony is my heart...

would you like to know my secret?
Though my body burns in fire;
Unending pain and yet I don't cry;
Well because death is my desire...

The pins and the edges do not help;
To give myself the final push;
Into the corner, I see the light;
Hallucinating, thanks to my drugs...

If you never noticed the pain I've felt;
Do not judge me from where you stand;
I lost my glamour and spice of my life;
Money, sex and drugs, now my only past time...

I am now guilty, a demon lurks beneath;
Tired of waiting, death must come to me;
When all is lost I desire to walk alone;
Desire of death, now my only salvation...
