Stuck on you, Father of lights!

by CRAFTY KEN   Sep 5, 2012

I'm stuck on you Lord, your love pulls me down,
keeping me on the ground.
You know me, I would love to fly away, prone to wander by the way!
But you stick like glue, there is no getting away from you.
No matter where I go, you follow me to and fro,
how's that for a great bro?
If you know him, you won't stub your toe.

Sticking to God, is buying Life. Outside Christ Jesus, Life is doomed! Great job..

Thanks bro! You are right, John stuck close to the Lord and he knew Jesus loved him. Not that the Lord loved him more than the others but John staying close to him received more blessings. This is still true today, Jesus wants our our love and devotion, leaning on Him brings the approval of the Father with blessings and assurance of salvation. Leaving your first love(Jesus) brings dryness of the soul, dead works doubts and no joy. Ken
