You Were Him.!

by Ruby Hamilton   Sep 7, 2012

I find a sense of serenity in your presence.
But fable memories link you to an unforgotten hurt.
Trying to loosen doubts, mental activity becomes hard to work.
So now I write you how I see him.

Scribbling his name over yours, I begin to notice a differnce.
Actions project a light on words spoken.
He spoke nothing, you gave actions.

My vision becoming clearer. He's no longer within my view.
I only see you.

No longer placed in his position, you're earsed from his doings.
The ink now gives a feel of what was felt but hidden.

With you nights are sunny, days are dreams.
You give me a potential love.
A love that could be my everything.!
