Nice write. A limerick (pronounced as lime-rick not limmrick) is a 5-line poem where the 1st, 2nd & 5th lines should have one rhyme whereas the 3rd & 4th line should rhyme should have another rhyme. You did that exactly. But the syllables counting for your poem showed 9/11/13/15/21 which is breaking the rules of limericks. Each of lines 3 and 4 should have syllables equal half of lines 1,2 & 5. For example: 14/14/7/7/14. Sometimes line 5 exceeds 14. This seems to be your first attempt. Well your poem is very attractive to me and I really loved it.
