NOBODY WINS

by PAT   Sep 9, 2012

There they go fighting again
Feeling the anger and pain
Throwing good love away
Not knowing what to say
To try and make things right
As the night gets deathly quiet
Don't they know nobody wins
Unless they can learn to be friends
To forget about the pain
And learn to love again
They choose to fight every day
Now their love will have to pay
As the silent treatment begins
And nobody ever wins

I actually really liked this, it sums up what goes on in so many homes and relationships these days and like you state in your poem, nobody ever wins. It just drags on and on and each day then becomes much of the same.

Really good topic to choose to write about and you dont it well. good job.
