Confetti Rain

by Maple Tree   Sep 9, 2012

Simple rain drops
scribble on my
window, messages
of understanding
that I myself can't
see and I can't help
but
bite my lip;
because I really
wish those confetti
clouds would calm the
whispers that I cry
at night.

    I like the whole idea of this poem
    it convoys loneliness and misunderstanding many people can relate to this
    and I like how u said Confetti rain well sometimes rain can be so sweet =)
    but I have one thing about the poem ( it might be just me )
    "bite my lip;
    because I really
    wish those confetti
    clouds would calm the
    whispers that I cry
    at night."

    I don't think cry go very well with whispers cause cry = loud voice but whispers = low voice

    but I dk I might be mistaken

    anyway this is a really sad yet inspiring and amazing poem

    Love this, you take an everyday thing such as rain on a window and turn it into something much deeper,

    I love how the whole idea of messages links with the last few lines like you are trying to portray a message yourself with your tears.

    short and powerful.

    Sad but creative poem Maple, I always feel like rain represents people's pain and hurt and tears.

    I wish some sunshine your way to shine through your window instead.

    You always inspire me with your writes Andrea, and this piece I felt I could relate to...to be able to write in such a way in few lines is something many rarely manage, especially with the way you wrote this.

    Just amazing poetry, with emotion and heart that drew me in immediately

    Through using simple words, You've managed to catch my attention fully with a poem that might be short, But is too dense with frustrated emotions,Only shows the magnitude of which you're going through.

    The sky will Rain confetti, and you will manage to make the best of your worst.
