Drunk on Life (Collab)

The universe has her plan for us,
She quietly resides in the background,
orchestrating her stage like a puppet master,
each act carefully planned out to lead to the next.

We lay in waiting, drunk on stars
high on emotion, just hoping for
our chance to shine within her light,
bathing upon a nude whisper, we hope
for a promising tomorrow.

Our dreams are carried on the back
of a unicorn, as she gallops across the
shores of existance, to remind us we
were born free, to teach us to live free
and love free.

We make love in the sorrows of life
and commune our secrets like a
silent song of peace, forgiving
others for their destruction.

And even in the midst of that
destruction comes a simplistic truth.
All that is and will be is determined by man,
governed by the universe
and judged by ourselves.

we shall ride away on fantasy
until our destiny catches up
with our dreams....
