Three eyes

by shadow of days long gone   Sep 10, 2012

The first eye sees the sight
The second eye sees the obvious
But the third eye..it sees the unseen

The first eye sees the planes.
The first eye sees the fire.
The first eye sees the collapse of a titan.

The second eye sees pain.
The second eye sees worry.
The second eye sees anger and hatred.

But the third eye...
It sees hope.
It sees a nation coming together.
It sees an unbreakable will.

Open your third eye and smile on this day.
It is indeed a day of sadness,or grieving.
But it is more, this is the day a child was born.
The day our flag soared higher.
The day a nation became a family.

    This is interesting.
First of all, in the title... "The 3 Eyes" I think the 3 needs to be changed into Three... it would just look better, in my opinion. Just a suggestion, though.

I don't think the "Three eyes:" is necessary at the beginning.

Okay, so the first eye sees the regular sight, things that can be seen with the naked eye. The second eye can see the obvious, emotions. The third eye sees things that cannot be seen, people coming together as a whole, as a nation and being completely content and full of hope and love for one another and for their country.

Thought provoking piece, good job! Keep writing! :)
