Phalanges (Acrostic)

by Meme   Sep 10, 2012

Paired with a divine
harmony, entwined
as if only made to be
lost in one another.
Amidst the chaos with
nothing but a memory in a
glass box, revealing how
eagerly my hands were
searching for yours.

    Phalanges?

This is the first time that I read the word phalanges.. I searched it up and it seems that it means fingers. and oh yes!
That fits the content of the poem. Holding hands and the fingers intertwining with the ones from the other person..sounds so romantic.

haha but I couldn't help but think about about the pharynx when I read the title. I guess just for the first three letters, I made that association. So at first I was a bit lost then it made total sense!! and it's a short but well written poem that holds meaning.

EDIT: and I forgot to mention that this piece is romantic but it has a hint of sadness towards the ending because there was chaos and you were looking for the hand of this someone.

    Meme I LOVED this acrostic!!!

I love the word phalange I use it all the time LOL. What I really LOVED and I mean loved, most about this poem, was the words you used that described what fingers do.

Paired, because they are all 5 paired with each other.

Entwined, as if only made to be lost in one another

OMGGG such a beautiful statement to say about hands, and about to people belonging together.

You did a fantastic job with this!!
