Once ignited

by Ole Carsten   Sep 11, 2012

We are breathing to live,
Not living for the breathing.
We taste under a kiss,
But not kissing for the taste.
The sweetness is on your lips,
carving your taste in my memory.
we are looking into our souls,
trying to find the truth.
love is not planted in your soul,
neither in your heart.
love is like a myth,
here and there forever.
no one can erase love,
once ignited between lovers.

I agree completely with Abed, while reading this I could just see two lovers panting while they were kissing... something truly magical you captured here.

Ďakujem veľmi pekne, then translated, thanks very much for the comment.
I am humble enough to know I am only getting a bit better, one step at the time.

" love is not planted in your soul,

This part right here.. got my attention the most. So it's not planted, is it something that is born?.. and once it's ignited then it won't cease to keep lightening.

It could be, love, love, love. Ole, you created a wonderful poem.

    Hi
    Love your sentence

it's like I can hear lovers breathing

It could have been there in the poem

I love the intro, Ole. And the whole atmosphere you have built with words felt very romantic and fervent. It's like I can hear the lovers breathing.
