Tears in her eyes

by Khalid M Darwish   Sep 14, 2012

She used to live alone
within her endless fears
with her both eyeballs full
as have thickened with tears

Cannot open to see
remnants of buried hope
to relive forgiveness
suspended by its rope

sunk in a sea of tears,
stemming wells of sorrow
where no one to give help
or safe boats to borrow

Withering every day
Happiness seasons end
Not expecting he leaves!
He was once her best friend

So much sadness the girl must have felt specially after her best friend has left, you captured the sadness and the feeling of loneliness that girl is going through. it was more notorious when you mentioned the part about not having even a boat to borrow. I got the impression that she is drowning in her own sorrow.

Well done with the challenge, I spotted the rhymes.
