Spring Song, Fresh Glowing Dew; Heart's Flowers Bloom For You

by teddyrexpatton   Sep 15, 2012

I always knew I heard a faint, soft voice --
I now know that it was your fair heart's song!
Such music, soft, sweet, chorused, practised long,
seemed to flow down from Paradise !
Those may have been my own words, so concise:
"Love me, for I have truly and long sought you!"
Love, I have been rehearsing, my youth through;
now our soul's song says Love is our choice!
"My love, come; strong the pulse that drives our heat."
I bow, I rise, assenting to your coax.
Your body's graceful kneel drives my beat.
You descend on me, sweet, soft strokes!
The rapture is transcendent, mutual, sweet,
trade enervating warmth, while pulses groan,
as one soul, two hearts mount and gain Love's throne
