Forbidden Love

by Rebecca Bentley   Sep 15, 2012

F orever searching for a reason
O r a measly excuse
R emembering the lie's we've told
B ecause I couldn't get enough of you.
I never thought I'd fall in love again,
D idn't have a lot of hope,
D arling then you came along.
E nding all my heartache
N ow were climbing a slippery slope.

L ying just to see me,
O nly making matters worse
V owing to tell her about me
E nd it with her, for our forbidden curse.

Love it Rebecca! So clever also in arranging the title in the way you did! A good piece of work!

    Lovely acrostic, Rebecca:)

As for the message: they never do, sweetheart. They take your all and then dump you.

    *hugs*

Loved the feeling and emotion in this, works well as a rhyming acrostic.

    great write.
