A Talk with My Soulmate

by Yakori bint Muhammed   Sep 15, 2012

28th April, 2012.

In the greenery at the backyard;
minor seedlings shine to the glistening sunshine.
The sight of the nursery;
warms my heart in a soothing tune of joy.

I saw you watering the plants with the steel can,
thus emitting freshness of the earth.
Your eyes sparkle like the stars;
yielding me to gesture you to my warmth.

Your silence speaks more than words to me;
your passionate drive to ease tensed nerves.
Your hair turns brown in daylight;
a trademark of your identity.

You're shy of your birthmark;
to you its a satire you can't escape from.
My Arbiter you're the minstrel i listen to in the dark hours,
like a baby I snooze in my cozy cot.

I rummage your thoughts in the garden;
you beseech to flow in between my ridge of tranquility.
Your haven of sweet coconut milk;
wrapped in a pool of soft mountains.

At the edge of the plants,
water forms a confluence of love;
by the mesmeric fountain.
I drift back to your presence;
relishing our cruise in the outskirts of the city.

My eunuch;
lay me by the serene buds of nature;
as they burgeon,
our moment will bloom with our realist tale.
You light my existence with a caress to my soul,
heeding to the beats of our heart.
I seep your hypnotic scent;
clouding me with a pleasant aura for a fiesta with you.

Standing in the garden;
listening to your sermon of affection.
You lure me to talk;
our hearts engrossed to our agog minds.
A talk with a soulmate;
relives a tale of two mystics.
