Fighting For Perfection ( Anorexia )

by Dakota Blue Cicilline   Sep 17, 2012

Head on her knees, salty tears on her face,
Feeling completely broken, nothing but Disgrace,
As she glares into the mirror with hate filled eyes, Realizing that she's so tired of living in disguise,
Pretending each single day she's so fine and perfect, When in reality she feels so lost and hopeless,

Everything's become crazy, counting calories and exorcising like crazy, Cutting everyone out of her life, for no one will ever understand, That Monster..AKA The Voice that's Inside Her head, Even When she is Dropping pounds every day, She still Does Not notice..She listens to that voice..The One that brings her down from day in and day out. The One That Tells her she is fat and puts all the negative thoughts that are pouring inside her head. She's trying so hard to reach her view of total perfection, Disease is in control, all she'll ever see is an ugly reflection.
