Reunited

by The Poet Behind The Poems   Sep 17, 2012

27th January 1998

He lives in heaven
among the twinkling stars
waiting for the day his love
would fly past the moon
to the golden gates.

1st of September 2012

An angel came down now
all the pain has gone away,
she flys towards the fluffy
white clouds ready to hold
his hand once again.

Ten thousand stars
spell out there name,
five hundred lighters
fill the air in celebration,
two hearts merge together
as finally they are reunited.

I love this so damn much, you know i really like your style of writing, you have a great vocabulary but you use it very wisely to create awesome pieces, the imagery and word choice are great here, but, the flow of this piece is awesome, like velvet, when i read a poem i always read it at least twice first in my head and then aloud because the two sound very different, i like this aloud :-)

    Great write dude!

Oh my gosh, I just immediately became envious of this idea and why didn't I write it when my Grandma passed away...

This is adorable, even though there could be a hint of sadness in this, I found it to be almost overlwhelmingly happy. To be reunited with a lover whethere dead or alive, has to feel just amazing...

    Loved this write.

    - I like how you gave the 2 dates, so we knew of the young ages of the character. This was good and made it even sadder to know of their young ages. I adore the romance in here, the flow of your poem starts so well and the creativity is fantastic using the galaxy as a travel path to heaven. amazing!

    - this is both sad and happy in this stanza. it is happy because they are being reunited at last but sad also because they have not lived a long life together.

    Ten thousand stars
    spell out there name,
    five hundred lighters
    fill the air in celebration,
    two hearts merge together

    - loved your ending, again the romance comes back with the names in the stars, I loved this imagery, also with the lighters too.

Very sweet poem and the story was touching,.

    Keep it up!
