Choose your friend (Sedoka)

I love how you say truths by simple wordings. And you tell it by using lovely personifications, as you used; an elevator in this case. We all can relate to the experience of good and bad friends. I believe everyone gets to be unfortunate, at least even if its once, by been with the wrong friend. Experience is the best teacher and it helps one in choosing the right friends. Well written as expected of you. :) ..

This is an interesting form of poetry. I like the simplicity of it. I enjoyed the clear message of your poem, and I feel everyone can relate to it. We all have had good and bad friends at some point, and you're absolutely right, they can either lift you up or bring you down... so we just need to make better decisions, as you explained in the ending of your poem.
