I am in jail

by Mkanya Anele   Sep 19, 2012

I found my self in here,
this is where I was born.
Everyday in fear,
of being struck by a thorn.
Can somebody hear
or do I need to sound the horn.
I need a bail
Here is me in jail.

What crime did I commit?
Was it a befit?
Because I acquit.
Yes I am not guilty.
Abusively I have been treated.
A life better than this is desired.
I need a bail
Here is me in jail.

Truth be told,
This place is so cold.
Truth be told,
Our world is so cold.
Disband we must not
Up we must stand,
This is our fatherland
Our only land.

A lot can be done.
Hand in hand works just fine.
It can turn cries into smiles,
Coldness into warmth,
Darkness into sunshine,
Be my sunshine,
Bail me out Of jail.
Here is me in jail.

Togetherness, frightens weakness. Absolutely nicely worded.
