You have two hearts to carry

You have two hearts to carry

by Ole Lundberg

You carry two hearts yours, twinkled with mine,
(I handed out my heart for your protection)
I feel you protection at all times,
Anywhere you are, a piece of me is with you.
I fear nor fate nor betrayal,
(you are my guard and destiny)
My heart are healing inside yours,
It has no weapon to protect itself.
My heart has only love and a naive true faith in you.
You carry it like on a velvet cousin holding it tight,
You are letting sun moon and stars to look at my heart.

I will trust and relies on the love you give me,
I have the deepest affection for you.
Like you carry my heart in you,
I carry the image of you inside me.
I worship and protect the image and the love,
The love we are sharing across bodies and minds.
No one else can feel this perfect delicate balance,
Between weightless souls and loves silver dust,
Like shooting stars on a perfect mind.
You have brought peace in a restless soul,
Like I have brought love in your soul.
Let us tell everyone that love like this is possible.
