Poppies

We have no more tears to cry for you
The fallen angels
Those who fight for us
For our lives
And this is how we repay them
By fighting our friends
By doing drugs
When really we should be working hard
And loving life
Is this how we remember them
As just the soldiers who fought for us
Or will they be forgotten...
No i say we remember them as they were
Heros fighting for us because we are too lazy
We need to stand up and remember them for the heros they are!

This is beautiful I have a grandfather that fought in war. He is haunted by it every day.

'They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them. Lest we forget'
