I'm Thinking of You

by VP Cruz   Sep 21, 2012

I miss your hugs, invigorating charms
I anticipate when, you're back in my arms

Abhor our severance, can never take it
But when you return, catching up is well worth it

Sleepless nights, in bed alone
Dab a couple of drops, of your favorite cologne

Touches and kisses that you deliver
Have no control, I shake and quiver

Days I spend, none but daydreaming
Of our amorous nights, leaves the mirror steaming

Was first impressed, by your indelible walk
Consequently sparked, our very first talk

Endured the whole day, with compelling fright,
For a strong disbeliever, of love at first sight

From that day on, the event utterly alarming
Incredibly convinced, you're my "Prince Charming"

Been lovingly exciting, up to this date
With you only glad, I didn't hesitate

The love we share, quite happily smug
I've become quite the addict; your love is my drug

Your side is empty, in bed, I just stare
The mere thought of you, my hormones just stir

The days are pointless, without you by my side
Cry myself to sleep, take it in stride

I see your face, on the bedroom dresser
The longer I stare, my longing is greater

I look to the sky, as the evening looms
I feel we're staring, at the same moon

I throw it a kiss, in hopes you will see
I am thinking of you, and as you...of me
