Sometimes I wish I was a mermaid
Then I could live under the sea
I'd chat with the catfishes in the evening
After diving with the dolphins at 3
I would stay poised in front of the porpoises
But I'd break down with the bottlenose
I'd cry my heart out on his flipper
As I tell him about my woes
My wishes I'd share with the star fish
As we bask in the morning sun
We'll dream up plans for my future
Of all the things that need to get done
