Weeping Willow....

by Lost Soul   Sep 23, 2012

The willow tree is crying,
somber weeping in
his soul. His tears forever
falling and he cannot
be consoled.

What has the willow lost,
that has caused him
so much pain. To be
forever weeping, as his
tear drops hang
in vain.

    - :O... wow. I cannot believe how touching this is already in such a few short lines. It really clutches you deep and hits you immediatly in the heart. To imagine someones pain to continue without being comforted, the feeling of such loneliness is just so powerful and you done amazing expressing this.

    - I think you need to take out the word his in the second line as it should read : that has caused him.

    - again, with this second verse it hits you so deep and then wonder what the reason for his sadness is. I adore this write so much and even through your title you know this is going to be a touching poem.

I love this poem so much and as much as I would have liked to read more of it, it stands so strong just being this length.

    Amazing job!
