Not a Poem

by Sunshine   Sep 24, 2012

You can keep trying on and on,
but your misery just won't help
making your message clear-
on my black pages.

I no longer want to understand
what you fail to read on my cover.

Get over it, like I'm doing.

It became a poem anyway, lol.

I understand what you are saying, Nana..sometimes the only way to survive is to retreat.

Hope you are doing alright, sweet girl <3

Sometimes as poets we just want to write without restriction and I think this piece shows that you had alot of feelings that were pleading to come out of you, which is why you wrote with such conviction and depth.

I guess the title is one of those that makes you actually want to read because it just makes you think of what have you written if not a poem?

But as always, Nana, You rock and this write rocks

It reads as a poem to me too! Although I could honestly imagine you yelling this one as a recitle, but what the heck still love it and love the message it deliveres.

I like how strong and straight forward you are addressing in this piece.

    Well done :)

This reads like a poem to me.... So I love your title.... and the message clearly states the emotions you harbor within... We just got to write the intensity of our feelings... and I can feel the frustration ...and I really admire this piece...
