Shadowed

by Yakori bint Muhammed   Sep 26, 2012

26th, September 2012.

Stream of tears;
go and never return.
Flow my misery;
in a fiery tide.
Flooding with anger;
quench thirst for rain.

Dunes of wreck;
erode my lonely nature.
Cascade a pacifier;
to suction my doom.
Falsify the curse;
to grace my days.

Dungeon of questions;
pave way for answers.
Lighten up chamber;
for a sunny chant.
Cage my demon;
and cleanse my alter-ego.

Fright of darkness;
erode from my sight.
Blind my scare;
and flourish a light.
Electrify the bulb;
thus, outshining my glory.

Ache of underworld;
scrape away the mystery.
Dwell in torment;
hence, carve my innocence.
Mould my trial;
into an abstract vision.

Paint my fate;
into a divine course.
Brush with glory;
in the blessed city.
Stroke my heart;
with tunes of honour.

    Good job. I think you can better make it aligned left since you are using punctuation, otherwise you can remove them and keep it aligned centered. I enjoyed the flow.

    Well done. though punctuation is not necessary for me. it would be good to know. its very short straight style of poetry.
