Dancing in the Fire

by Yakori bint Muhammed   Sep 27, 2012

26th September, 2012.

The flaring blue smoke is beautiful,
to my sensual burning eyes,
attracting me to its light element.

My body sways momentarily in sparks,
to its scorching emission in blossoms,
trapping me in a blaze of waves.

Engrossed into my core value,
I romance you in this nursery in flames,
deeply transforming me into ash.

Your gentle form radiates grey smiles,
smoothing around me for a paint,
to polish my purity for a neutral polish.

Your abstract flair beguiled my charm,
craving for a fiesta on the canvas,
embedded with your fiery memories.

I hanged you on the plain wall,
honoring you with an identity,
thus,
celebrating your magnificence.

Your fierce rampage through the room,
beckons me to let you wander aimlessly,
admirably creating beauties as portraits.

Inspired by the movie; Blue Smoke

Great poem with great emotions! I loved it. This is the best stanza for me:
"Your abstract flair beguiled my charm,
craving for a fiesta on the canvas,
embedded with your fiery memories. "
I think "honouring" should be "honoring" if I'm not mistaken. Well penned piece.
