If I could see the future I would,
If I could erase the past I would,
If I could relive my life, I would,
But another day is gone,
& I'm still all alone,
If only I could see what to be done,
If only I could erase what was shown,
If only I could restart my life,
But IFS cant happen,
Everyday I sit & ask myself -"How did I slip away?"
Telling myself I'll be okay,
We'll get through this!! I say,
We've always have, surviving day by day,
always taking the safe route,
safety was my only way out,
Snuck away, unseen, Yes!! that's how I like it,
But I'm crawling out & I'm going to risk it,
With my past behind me,
And my future in front of me,
I'm going to risk it, wait & see,
If only I had the courage... to believe in me..
