Rose petals on fire [acrostic] collab

Ripped petals screaming in pain
Overwhelmed by life's horrendous flames
Scorched, tortured and sorrowfully maimed
Eternally hoping for a light of hope along the way

Petals pouring down like icy winter rain
Enchanted by the curse of red and blue flames
Terror flaring through the once innocent day
Agonizing screams and fears remain
Lost in a dying paradise, roses rotting away
Someone please save the beauty from its bitter decay

On what seems to be the end of days
New life is restored through waters nourishing grace

Flickering flames cease to obtain aggressive hate
Injuring no further the path of an innocent fate
Rejuvenating around the clear crystal lake
Embracing the monsoons love erasing this heartache

    This is amazing. It almost blue me away. I adore the focabulary you both used in this. It's intense and I could picture what you were describing. Vibrant is the word I'm looking for but in a sensual way. This piece drew me in and kept me gripped. That's a sign of a good poem but this one is fantastic. Well done to you both. Your creativity works well together.

    Even though we created this together I wanted to just say that i really enjoyed writing this with you as well as our other one we composed awhile ago.
    This was an interesting piece to brainstorm and write together and we got through it even with the pollen all over my face. :p
    Really beautiful, I like how we went from the anger and hurt of a burning hell to hope and love of mother nature.
    We rock!
    (Not going to rate it though, wouldn't be very fair.. >_<)
