This didnt sound like you were suggesting being selfish or taking risks at all! It sounds like a poem advising the reader to cherish every moment while they can because life is so short. I thought this was very well penned and loved the title as well. I can relate. :) very nicely done.

The little things in life are all that matter, live for today. Life is too short to be anything but happy... cherish every single thing you can. :)
