Where are you?

by Banell   Sep 30, 2012

I feel so lonely
lonely, lonely, lonely
I see you with me
yet I am lonely, lonely, lonely
everyday is boring
it feels like drowning, drowning, drowning
you love me truly
but am sorry, sorry, sorry

It's like you stopped being you now
the girl I fell in love with just moved out
that charming look without make-up
that simple smile without lip-gloss
that childlike simplicity
that adorable empathy and beauty
are all gone.

I don't need you to impress me
cos I love you just the way you were
you hardly say a word to me
yet in silence we stare shyly and smile
and when our lips meet
I could feel the surge of passion so high
flowing endlessly like time

I miss the sparkles in your eyes
I miss the comfort in your smile
I miss the magic in your drive
Where did my baby go?
Where are you?

This one I really like, to me it gives the impression that something is changing in the writers perspective on the girl rather then the girl herself. Jolly good show. 5/5
