Yesterday

by Maple Tree   Sep 30, 2012

Drawn to the soft sounds
of your voice, swept away
with notions of breaking
the silence of yesterday.

Those days repeat
loudly in my mind,
and I can't shake
this feeling of being
a last resort.

To your advantage,
I've always lived
within a fantasy world.

I will be with you
always, unless
you decide to
escape from
never land
again-

This was very touching Maple, the beginning really spoke to me with your line " breaking the silence of yesterday" This line holds a lot of power and can relate to so many things in our lives.

This poem of yours is one of the few which you write, in that every person could read this differently and take different things from it. I like poems like that x
