Secretly

by Maple Tree   Sep 30, 2012

Desperately
I leave thee.

Passionately
you see me.

walking freely
silently.

You love me
deeply.

Meet me at the tree
discreetly.

You shall see
briefly

There are no guarantees
in loving only me,

so I leave thee.

Beautiful flow, yet so sad. I feel the depth you portray in this short piece. Well written.

This is very short Maple but yet you have made it so deep. Your powerful wording really hits the reader and makes them think of that something which jumos into their head after reading each line. I liked the flow to this one.

I was trying to leave individual comments in each stanza and that's why I have pasted this but...suddenly I found I just couldn't. I have a fair idea what this is about to you but to me...it had something within it that touched me personally...my brother and I went around in cirlces denying that he had a problem before he died at 43....yes I was right in the end but....I so wish he had won this arguement and was still here to stir me up every day...
