Hear Them Cry

by AllyKat   Oct 1, 2012

Cries fill the room then a smack
They're in fetal position holding their head
Thumb in their mouth as a tear drips down
Their eyes speak with such sadness
But we do not speak, just sit there
Watch in silence as we hear another blow
We can hear them cry

Wow, this is so powerful because you have created a scene which could be one of many. This could be a parents choice of discipline, it could be children in an prhanage it could be mistreated children in the foreign countrys and just so many things. It doesnt matter which one you have in your head because they all hold the same amount of power and the bottom line is, no child should have to go through this fear.

    Great poem.

So you like it? Lol. I agree, I got a job as a babysitter and that's all we see. I understand they get out of hand but there's a better way to get them to listen

This breaks my heart. Abuse of any kind is so unacceptable and wrong and I just can't stand that people have the nerve to lay a hand on another person. Its so sad. I will never understand why you want to bring someone pain?

    Sad sad write Saf!
