Beneath the essence of true love

by Ole Carsten   Oct 1, 2012

I wish I always can protect the memories,

The first true love is the greatest in life,

Throw away all glamour and flimsy romance,

Don't sink into novels hollow love images.

Give me a big angels wing,

Protect my memories of my own lover.

Let me dare to stand in the headlight kissing,

Clear the scenes and raise the curtains,

My love is ready for you,

Take it on a silver plate,

Or carry it on a velvet pillow,

Put in your hair the essence of my true love.

Pull the sails down and stop the ships,

Take a tissue and hold in the handles.

Give me the moon as torch,

A I lead you on my pathway to the essence of true love.

I will send mild beams of silver in your hair.

Let the snow be you silky dress,

Use your imagination and paint your love.

Could you ever have tasted the essence of my true love!

Let the gods be my witness,

I will place a new sun in orbit.

Let it shine as a leading star,

Follow the path and find the essence of true love.

Our sweetest memories are the essence of my true love.

    On this sentence:

Give me a big angles wing,

    Is it angles or angels?

-- what remain in my mind after I finished reading this poem were the words that the first love is the greatest in life. I wonder... and I guess is something that I will wonder still. However this is good piece.
