Dreamland

by Good Enough   Oct 4, 2012

A tree that sings belongs in my heart
Next to my rainbow colored unicorn
Atop purple shaded cotton candy clouds
That dance across the sky quietly
Being quickly here to finally disappear
Behind the shamrock trees in winter
And then waking up to realize
That perfection is just a fantasy dream

"Atop purple shaded cotton candy clouds" - what a wonderful line and great use of alliteration here.
Well done, another really well written piece,

    I loved the opening

"A tree that sings belong to my heart"

    Such a stunning opening

The way you decribed this dream land reminded
Me of a dream you may of had as a little girl
And maybe you never left even after all these
    Years.

You always have a place to go
    When you need space
    A really cute poem
