Strange Love

by Gwen   Oct 5, 2012

Can you love someone so much that you can let them go?
Can you miss someone so much that you won't let them know?

And the days without them would just make you think,
And the feelings inside would make your heart sink.

Where broken promises and spiteful lies,
And hurtful words they do deny.

A strange kind of love isn't it?

It's really some kind of love that would make you weep!
The kind of love that won't let you sleep!

They won't know that it's for the best,
And they don't care so give it a rest.

Why let yourself boil to a hundred degree?
When you can choose to be carefree.

A strange kind of love ...

That would tamper with your heart,
Leaving you stunned and scatter pieces apart.

A puzzle, too complicated to solve, why?
Because the love was all a lie.

Like glass will break once tipped over and fall.
So will the heart, once loved and given it's all.

Strange love isn't it?
It's the love from a girl;

No matter how hard it can be,
She holds on to what she believes.

Nothing's perfect, nothing fits,
But it's the strange love she have for the man she's with.

So take good care of her for her love so true,
And be grateful that the love was for you.
