One. Day

by lillie   Oct 6, 2012

Laying in my bed, underneath my blanket of pink.
My mind thinks of words i could put together with ink.
Sometimes thoughts of us form into my head with one blink.

Why did we meet, and why did we end,
you made it clear that forever you and i,
together we would spend.

One day you became distant, very shady but still.
My loving touch, and warm kiss, was no-more a thrill.
Someone else was giving you love, she was your joy and you were fulfilled.

You dragged this love so you could keep your name.
When it ended you told everyone i played a game.
But it was you who played, and in the end looked lame.

Overtime my hurt had healed and you were gone.
I loved and I lost, but i trusted you and I was wrong.
Believing you could love me more than you loved you.
Loving you was beautiful, I was blind without a clue.

That feeling disappeared, I forgot what it was like for you to love me back, glued all the pieced to my heart. No more was it a big lonley crack.

I moved on, you were a page just flipped in my book.
I now hope for a real love, not just for a sexy look.

One day ill have someone, who will be as good to me as I was to you.

Someday ill find a man who will love me deeply without an explanation or a clue
