Drifting away?

Don't drift away my Christian friend, it comes from within and you know the end.
When you drift away from him, all things become hard, this will be the result of leaving God.
Those who love him are really never far away, for in them, the Holy Spirit is there to stay! God always loves them, by the way.
The Sun does rise, the Sun does set, does God love his own, you bet!
Beloved, cast your eyes upon Jesus, the captain of your soul, the author of your salvation, the one who made you whole.
Draw near to him every day, seek his face and pray, then you will not drift away; you will be renewed in your spirit even this day.
Sin is deceitful and subtle, when you take your eyes off Jesus, you will step in the puddle.
When Peter took his eyes off the Lord, he did sink but Jesus kept him out of the drink!
He that keeps the believers does not slumber or sleep, the prayer we prayed as a child; "Now I lay me down to sleep", he remembers and our souls,
God does keep.

So we must listen very carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it. Hebrews 2:1 NLT.
