I really love this poem.. You dipped your toes in the nature realm.. and I know you weren't all that thrilled with doing a nature poem, I have to say you gave this rose poem a rich flare of the dark side... and it kicks!! in my opinion... love it!!

Aww, this was both beautiful, sad, hopeful and uplifting all rolled into one. I have to say the shape is beautiful and looks like a rose itself. AMazing little poem and I loved your idea with it.
