Blindly, Freely

by MyHalozChokinMe   Oct 7, 2012

Heart, essential part of me,
you work at your own will;
you fling yourself at random,
blindly, freely.
Heart, delicate toy,you
fall and shatter regularly,
only to be flimsily glued
together, ever weaker,
blindly, freely.
Heart, you suicidal maniac,
you care not of your own destruction,
much less that it lead to mine,
blindly, freely.

You really know how to make the repitition work in your poetry, you always pull it off.

There are such few words in here but the message is very strong about how you feel about yourself. Like you cannot control your heart and the feelings and sometimes even the choices that your heart makes too.

    Love it x

The heart is definitely a complex yet simple organ. Always on a blind quest for love and acceptance. Very thought provoking, and powerful piece.

' heart, you suicidal maniac' <-- this line made me smile but also think about how much our hearts and souls keep falling and having emotions even if they'll get hurt and end up broken. Such a small yet powerful poem!

    awesome work! 5/5
