Fall

by Thomas   Oct 9, 2012

Raindrops falling
like the tears of a daughter
watching her father slide down into the ground
Leafs falling
like brave soldiers
driven by despair and patriotism
People falling
like rotten trees
rotten by loneliness and grief

Thomas I feel like I never see you write nature poems so this was pretty refreshing to read :)

Loved your comparisons, seriously I could see both sides as I was reading, which was kind of sad....but then again, fall is a "blah, sad, gloomy" time isn't it?

    Nicely done :)
